Prateek Chhabra is Chief Risk Officer for Hanover’s US Domestic businesses including Personal, Commercial and Specialty Lines. He is responsible for enterprise risk management, reporting, governance and controls across all business lines and risk types. He also leads the efforts to develop, manage and support risk assessment models and methodologies including aggregation models, Catastrophe models, Economic Capital Model, etc.
Prior to Hanover, he worked at McKinsey in Risk and Strategy consulting specializing in risk transformation, risk gap analyses and risk based strategic planning. Before McKinsey, he worked at Aon in ERM Consulting and Alternative Risk Financing developing innovative tools for risk financing and mitigation. Prior to that, he worked at AIR Worldwide in Catastrophe Risk Modeling and Consulting.
Prateek holds an MBA in Finance and MIS from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Finance and Marketing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting.
