Urs is Corporate Platform Officer and also Platform partner for the Enterprise Enablement strategy. Urs has almost 35 years of experience in Re-Insurance, financial services and technology, with 27 years spent at XL Catlin. She assumed the Corporate platform role in early 2016 with global responsibilities supporting; Finance, Actuarial, ERM, Investments, HR, Legal, Compliance, Marketing & Communications, Insurance Claims and Workplace Management. Previously, Urs was XL’s Corporate CIO for 7 years and Reinsurance CIO for 12 years. Prior to XL Catlin, Urs held various technology positions at Reinsurance and Financial brokerage firms. Urs holds a B.Sc and H. Diploma Education from University College Cork, Ireland, Masters of Science from PACE University NYC and Leadership in Technology certification from Babson University Boston. Urs is President of the Society for Information Management local chapter and is advisory board member for a few colleges. Previously held membership or chair positions in industry committees such as; ACORD, BRMA, RAA, DISA, Ruschlikon, INN.
